Flint Custom Hats was established in 1996. Jared and Kesli bought the business in 2011, after Jared had been a long time employee with a knack for hat making. Since then, the business has been built up & grown in to what it is today.

In 2021, we expanded the shop to include a larger gallery space. Jared continues to perfect the "Flint Hat" style & brand and continues to make every hat by hand. He does it his way, the old school way.  Rest assured every Flint Custom Hat is made one at a time in Lubbock, TX. Even his wife doesn't know all the tricks. We don't mass produce or make the trendiest hat on the market, but we guarantee a quality, truly custom, felt hat. Jared takes pride in his product and takes care of his clients.

We are also a full service boot and leather repair shop. We can help you with work boots, high heels as well as basic leather & large item repair. Including but not limited to purse straps, snaps, zippers, eyelets, patches, etc.
